Racing VacationRegardless of experience it's guaranteed to be fun
The Virgin Islands in the winter is one of the most amazing sailing venues in the world. Air temperature is 82 every day, the water is warm, blue and beautiful and the wind almost always blows around 10-15 knots out of the East. Our sheltered bay is an exceptional racing area and when we incorporate ‘round the island races into the mix, the scenery is spectacular.
If you are a racer you have several options
North U Clinics
With a coach on every boat and video reviews twice a day this is a great opportunity for you and your crew to have a great vacation while acquiring techniques that will help you move up in your home fleet.
STIR (St. Thomas International Regatta)
March 27th – 29th, 2020
Fun parties, good music, great sailing, exceptional competition. The three day event from Friday, March 27 through Sunday March 29, 2020, includes as many as 12 races with a mix of windward/leeward and island races.
BVI Spring Regatta
March 30 – April 5, 2020
We make our IC-24 fleet available for both of these events. These are competitive regattas, and a great opportunity for you and your team to test your skills against some of the best.
Race with our home fleet
Join the St. Thomas Yacht Club as a non-resident member, add Boat Access and come down for any (or every) scheduled Saturday race. Bring your own crew or sail with local sailors. As a member with Boat Access you can use the fleet whenever you’re here.
If your group or fleet would like us to run a winter or spring regatta just for you, we can probably do it. Call 340-690-3681 or email firstname.lastname@example.org and let’s start a conversation.
