Racing Vacations

The Virgin Islands in the winter is one of the most amazing sailing venues in the world. Air temperature is 82 every day, the water is warm, blue and beautiful and the wind almost always blows around 10-15 knots out of the East. Our sheltered bay is an exceptional racing area and when we incorporate ‘round the island races into the mix, the scenery is spectacular.

North U Performance Race Weeks

With a coach on every boat and video reviews twice a day this is a great opportunity for you and your crew to have a great vacation while acquiring techniques that will help you move up in your home fleet.

STIR (St. Thomas International Regatta)

Fun parties, good music, great sailing, exceptional competition. The three day event from Friday, March 25 through Sunday March 27, 2022, includes as many as 12 races with a mix of windward/leeward and island races

Mid-Winter Clinic/Regatta in Paradise

For experienced racers and teams.  Tune up for the summer sailing season and work on speed, boat handling and starting techniques under the guidance of professional coaches.

Race with our home fleet

Saturday afternoons
Join the St. Thomas Yacht Club as a non-resident member, add Boat Access and come down for any (or every) scheduled Saturday race. Bring your own crew or sail with local sailors. As a member with Boat Access you can use the fleet whenever you’re here.
