Learn to Sail – Weekends – 1/22 to 1/30/22 – 1 SPOT LEFT!

An event every week that begins at 10:00 am on Sunday and Saturday, repeating until January 30, 2022
This introductory course is based on the world-reknowned Basic Keelboat course developed by U.S. Sailing and has successfully seen the graduation of hundreds of new, competent and safe sailors here at the St. Thomas Sailing Center. You will learn all the fundamental skills: rigging, points of sail, tacking, jibing, reefing, landing at a mooring, navigation with chart and compass, and an introduction to spinnaker handling. If you would like Basic Keelboat certification from US Sailing, that is an option as well!
This course is over consecutive weekends. Dates are Sat 1/22, Sun 1/23, Sat 1/29, Sun 1/30/22. – 1 SPOT LEFT!!
